Prep
- Pat shrimp very dry (this is key for crispiness)
- Set up 3 bowls:
- Bowl 1: Flour
- Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: Panko + seasoning
Instructions
- Coat Shrimp
- Dredge shrimp in flour (light coat)
- Dip into egg
- Press into panko (coat fully, press it on)
- Place on tray
- ๐ Do NOT stack (coating will fall off)
Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 400ยฐF
- Lightly spray shrimp with oil
- Place in basket in a single layer
- Cook 4โ5 minutes
- Flip shrimp
- Spray lightly again
- Cook another 3โ5 minutes
- ๐ Shrimp should be golden and crispy
Finish
- Remove immediately (donโt let them sit in basket)
Notes
- Donโt overcrowd the air fryer โ shrimp will steam instead of crisp
- Always spray before AND after flipping for best texture
- Use large shrimp โ small ones overcook fast
- Serve immediately for maximum crunch
