- Peel and cube potatoes evenly
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes until fork-tender
- Drain well and return to pot
- Add butter and mash until mostly smooth
- Pour in warm milk and mix until creamy

Notes
- Warm milk = smoother texture
- Don’t overmix (can turn gluey)

- Use heavy cream instead of milk for richer version
