- Quarter potatoes
- Cut corn into thirds
- Slice sausage
- Peel and devein shrimp if needed
- Fill large pot with water about 8 inches above vegetables
Instructions
- Add potatoes and corn to a large pot of water.
- Stir in Zatarain’s Liquid Crab Boil and dry seasoning.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Cook potatoes and corn for 12–15 minutes until fork tender.
- Add sliced sausage and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes until pink.
- Turn off heat immediately and allow everything to soak for 5 minutes.
- Use a slotted spoon or fryer scoop to remove everything from the pot.
- Optional: Serve with melted butter and fresh lemon wedges.
Notes
- Shrimp cook very quickly, so avoid overcooking.
- For a fun presentation, dump everything onto parchment paper or a serving tray.
- Use less seasoning if sensitive to spice.
- Add cayenne pepper during soaking for extra heat.
- Leftovers are great reheated with butter in a skillet.
