- Cut chicken into evenly sized cubes
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels
- Season lightly with salt and pepper
- Mix honey and mustard together in a small bowl
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and lower heat slightly.
- Add butter, honey, and mustard to the pan.
- Stir continuously for 1–2 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and toss until fully coated in sauce.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the skillet or the chicken will steam instead of brown.
- Dijon mustard gives a sharper flavor, while yellow mustard is sweeter and milder.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions for color.
