Method

Prep
  1. Chill the prosecco and wine glass beforehand if possible.
  2. Slice fresh lemon garnish.
  3. Fill the wine glass almost completely with large ice cubes.
  4. Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
Instructions
  1. Pour prosecco into the prepared wine glass.
  2. Add limoncello and fresh lemon juice.
  3. Top lightly with club soda.
  4. Stir gently once — don’t overmix or you’ll lose carbonation.
  5. Garnish with lemon wheel, basil sprig, and lemon twist.
  6. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

  • Fresh lemon juice keeps the drink balanced and prevents it from tasting overly sweet.
  • Limoncello brands vary in sweetness — adjust club soda if needed.
  • Don’t over-stir after adding prosecco.
  • Large ice cubes help preserve carbonation longer.
  • Basil adds an upscale aromatic finish that pairs beautifully with lemon.
