- Dice onion
- Mince garlic
- Measure broth and sour cream
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until soft and translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart while cooking. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a light simmer.
- Add egg noodles and stir well. Cook until noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Simmer for 2–3 more minutes until thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with parsley or green onion and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a splash of heavy cream.
- Mushrooms make a great addition to this recipe.
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Best served fresh while creamy.
