Prep:
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces
- Press garlic
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and cornstarch until smooth
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- Add chicken in a single layer
- Cook 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds
- Pour in sauce and stir well
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened and coated
- Remove from heat and garnish w/ green onion, sesame seeds, and red chili flakes
- Serve hot
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for extra flavor
- For extra crispiness, cook the chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water to loosen it.
- Make sure the chicken is fully cooked before adding the sauce to ensure even coating.
