Intro:

These smash burger sliders are everything you want in an easy party meal—crispy-edged beef, melty cheese, buttery toasted buns, and bold burger flavor packed into bite-sized sliders. They’re fast, juicy, and perfect for game day, family dinners, parties, or weekend cravings.

Why This Works:

Adding Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and seasonings directly into the beef gives these sliders deeper burger-joint flavor without extra work. Smashing the beef creates crispy caramelized edges while the soft Hawaiian rolls keep everything buttery and balanced.

Ingredients:

For the Sliders

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Burger Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Optional Toppings

  • Dill pickle slices
  • Thin sliced onions
  • Lettuce
  • Jalapeños

Kitchen Tools Needed:

Prep:

  • Mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  • Mix burger sauce ingredients together.
  • Preheat skillet or flat top over medium-high heat.

Instructions:

  1. Roll beef mixture into 12 small meat balls.
  2. Place meat balls onto hot skillet and smash thin with a spatula.
  3. Cook 2–3 minutes until crispy edges form.
  4. Flip and immediately top with cheese.
  5. Cook another 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
